Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is MyAstrologyMap. Contact: contact@myastrologymap.com

2. Data we collect

  • First name (real name is optional)
  • Gender
  • Date and time of birth
  • Place of birth (name and coordinates)
  • Current location (optional)
  • Life interests (optional)
  • Description of current life situation (optional)

3. Purpose of processing

Data is processed exclusively to generate your personalised astrocartography map and AI interpretations. Data is transmitted to Anthropic (Claude API) for the sole purpose of generating this content.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), expressed by completing the form and clicking the map generation button.

5. Retention period

We retain your chart data (map + AI-generated interpretations) for 90 days for users without an account, and indefinitely for registered users until you request deletion. Birth data (date, time, place) is stored separately from generated content and encrypted at rest. Right-to-erasure requests (GDPR art. 17) are fulfilled within 30 days — contact: contact@myastrologymap.com.

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. Contact: contact@myastrologymap.com

7. Third parties (processors)

  • Anthropic Inc. (USA) — AI interpretation generation. Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place. Data is transmitted in derived form (birth date/time/place + context) only for the duration of content generation, with no long-term retention by the provider.
  • Stripe, Inc. (USA / Ireland) — payment processing. PCI-DSS Level 1. Transmitted data: payer email, amount, country, and billing address (required for applying the correct-country VAT).
  • Hosting: server located in the EU (exact location — see section 10).
  • Analytics: Plausible Analytics — no identifying cookies, aggregated data, EU-based server.

8. Cookies

We use only cookies strictly necessary for the application to function (session, language preference). We do not use identifying analytics or advertising cookies.

9. Data transfers outside the EU

Our application servers are located in the European Union. Transfers to Anthropic (USA) are carried out on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission, together with the DPA.

10. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Under art. 37 GDPR, appointing a DPO is not mandatory for us (we do not process special-category data on a large scale). All data-protection matters are handled by the controller — email: contact@myastrologymap.com.
